Bergstresser was named co-Player of the Year in 2011 and earned that distinction outright this season. The Fighting Scots’ career stolen base leader led the team in steals (11) for the fourth straight year while also picking up her fourth all-league honor. The catcher hit .306 for the Scots in 2012 and scored a team-high 31 runs. A biochemistry major, Bergstresser is the daughter of Don and Paula Bergstresser.
Twohill earned her second consecutive all-conference award as an outfielder. The career leader in hit-by-pitch (17) did the hitting this season, leading the team with seven doubles. Her .333 average was second on the squad. An art major, Twohill is the daughter of James and Robyn Twohill.
Lingle picked up her second all-conference award in as many seasons. The third baseman led the team with 28 RBIs and was second on the team with 38 hits. Lingle also was second on the squad with four home runs and a .500 slugging percentage. A Spanish and education double major, Lingle is the daughter of Jason and Glenda Lingle.
Foster, who played the majority of the time at first base, earned her first all-conference honor as a utility player in her first year with the Scots. She hit .379, ripped five home runs and compiled a .631 slugging percentage – all team highs. Her 30 hits were second on the team, as were her five stolen bases.
