M. Louise Anderson, 79, of Woodhull, died Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Genesis Illini Campus in Silvis. Cremation has been accorded and a Celebration of Life Service will be at a later date. She was born May 27, 1933 in Aledo, to Frank and Ada Lafferty Ottoson. She attended the Silvis and New Windsor schools and was united in marriage to Robert C. "Butch" Anderson Dec. 16, 1949 in Milan. He died in 2002.
Louise and her husband together with Dick and Dorselle Anderson owned and operated Anderson Supermarket Inc. in New Windsor and Woodhull for many years retiring in 1985.
She was a member of the United Church of Woodhull and loved music, especially dancing and choreography. She enjoyed bowling at the Alpha lanes and water skiing. Later in life she took up snow skiing and was a wonderful active mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her family
Survivors include a daughter, Michelle (Tim) Blaine of Woodhull; two sons, Brandon (Connie) Anderson of Milan andJohn (Vivian) Anderson of Springfield; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren with one lovingly expected; two brothers, Charles "Bud" (Margaret) Ottoson of Williamsburg, Va. and Harold "Butch" (Linda) Ottoson of Aledo; also several nieces and nephews.
