  • Judy K. Bieri, 68, of New Boston, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012 at Trinity Rock Island.
    Funeral services were 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 2012 at Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo. Pastor Paul Brooks officiated. Music was provid- ed by Shirley Dunn on the organ and Steph Carey and Pam Carey singing. Serving as pallbearers were Randy Welch, Cory Welch, Ron Murphy, Nick Seefeld, Lee Henry and Brian Henry. Burial was in Eliza Creek Cemetery. Following the graveside service there was a luncheon at the Eliza Community Center. Visitation was 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012 at Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo. Memorials may be left for a fund to be determined later.
    Judy was born on Feb. 13, 1944 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Loren and Viola Baldwin Bacon. She was a 1962 graduate of Westmer High School. She was united in marriage to Robert L. Bieri on July 15, 1962.
    Judy enjoyed reading, dancing, playing cards and spending time with friends. Most of all she loved time with her family; especially playing board games and riding the chuckwagon with her grandson, Andrew.
    Survivors include her husband, Robert; a son Chris (Brenda) Bieri; a daughter Lisa (Randy) Simpson; a grandson Andrew Simpson, all of Eliza; a grandson Ryan (Crystal) Simpson and great grandson Parker Simpson, all of Peoria, Ariz; a sister Marcia (Randy) Cognasi of Prattville, Alabama; three brothers, Donald (Geri) Bacon, of New Boston, David (Deanna) Bacon and Mark Bacon both of Aledo; two brothers-in-law Lindy Welch of Joy and Ron (Janet) Bieri of Aledo; one sister-in-law Peg (Ken) Cox of Eliza; a special uncle and aunt Chuck and Ruth Baldwin of New Boston and many loved nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, her daughter-in-law Darla Bieri and one sister Janet Welch.
