  • Pearl Harbor Survivor to recall memories at Milan Legion Post

  • WWII Navy storekeeper Eldon Baxter was on the quarterdeck of the USS West Virginia when Pearl Harbor was attacked on Dec. 7, 1941. The planes flew so low the ship’s crew members could see the Japanese pilots, who were targeting a submarine base a short distance from the ship.
