Lee arrested over missing park district funds

On Thursday, Feb. 7, the Aledo Police Department assisted by the Illinois

State Police Zone 2 Investigations, opened an investigation into public funds (Aledo Park District) allegedly being used for personal use. The investigation led to the arrest of Richard D. Lee, 52, of Aledo. Mr. Lee was charged with Ct. 1 Felony Theft and Ct. 2 Official Misconduct with the bond set at $50,000.
