Be prepared for winter weather today and tomorrow

Winter weather will affect travel throughout the area today and tomorrow. The Illinois Department of Transportation will have crews out plowing and salting roads today and through the night, and will continue to do so until the storm system passes. Don't crowd the plow - please give our crews plenty of room to work.
