  • Daffodil Weather

  • It was daffodil weather just a few days ago, all warm and sunny.

    That was then and this is now.
     
    Roads are rutted, creeks are high, tree limbs are scattered, and the sun has been a stranger since Saturday.
     
    By week’s end, daffodils may bloom again, and a week or so after that, if lucky, we will hear the first whippoorwill.
