Delferd Deming of Highland Arkansas died Friday morning in Ash Flat Arkansas at Eagle Crest Nursing Home. He was born April 8, 1913 and died April 26, 2013 at 100 years and 16 days. He was born in southern Illinois to Jesse Deming and Nancy Bellmyer Deming in Adams County. Moving to the Aledo area in the late 1930’s early 40’s, where he married Ruth Kell July 6, 1940. They farmed in the Sunbeam area till he retired in 1982. He was road commissioner in Ohio Grove Township for many years. Also was a member of the Mason Lodge in Seaton Illinois, and of the Sunbeam United Presbyterian Church. He loved hunting, gardening- raised corn, beans, pigs, milked cows and chickens. He raised and breaded German shepherd’s, had “coon hounds” He loved all animals.
He was preceded into death by his parents, one brother, one sister, his first wife Ruth Kell Deming of 50 years, his 2nd wife Abi Lawrence Deming of 18 years. He is survived by his Daughter Marti Luebken and husband Don of Ash Flat Arkansas, and one Son Keith Deming of Illinois, one special grandchild Sylvan English and husband Carl of Highland Arkansas, and other grandchildren of Illinois, one special great grandchild Alyza Ruth English of Highland Arkansas, and other great grandchildren of Illinois, and many relatives and friends.
