  • OBITUARY - FRANCES L. BOLDUC

  • Frances L. Bolduc, 98, of Woodhull, died Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, in her home. Services were 2 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at the United Church of Woodhull. Burial will be in th e Woodhull Cemetery. Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Peterson-Wallin- Knox Funeral Home in Woodhull.     Frances was born Aug. 9, 1915 in Woodhull, to John and Mary Rose Delphey Heinsen. She graduated from Woodhull High School and Browns Business College in Galesburg. She married William Bolduc Sept. 23, 1938, at the Little Brown Church in the Vale in Nashua, Iowa. He died July 8, 1999.
    She worked at the Rock Island Arsenal until becom- ing a homemaker. She was a bookkeeper for her hus- band at Bill Bolduc Lime and Fertilizer Company in Woodhull until her retirement.
    She was a member of United Church of Woodhull, the Galesburg Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star #235, the United Presbyterian Women and the Birthday Club. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, dancing and travel- ing and especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. For 15 years, they wintered in Texas.
    Survivors include one daughter, Riva (Michael) Walsh of Versailles, Ky.; two sons, Monty (Connie) Bolduc and Brian (Libby) Bolduc both of Woodhull; six grandchildren; five great grandsons; one nephew, Jack Heinsen; and a special feline companion, Sunny.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one brother, Leonard Heinsen; one niece, Judy Murphy.
    The family would like to extend a special thank you to Lori Nimrick, Kim Fortino, Janice Spivey and Sherry Zappa.
