The West Central High School girls basketball team beat United a 43-24 on Jan. 15.

The Heat led 16-3 after the first quarter. The Red Storm closed the gap with an 11-6 second quarter to enter the break down 22-14. West Central put the game out United’s reach with a 12-4 third quarter.

The Heat led 16-3 after the first quarter. The Red Storm closed the gap with an 11-6 second quarter to enter the break down 22-14. West Central put the game out United’s reach with a 12-4 third quarter.

Cierra Pulse led the Heat with a game-best 16 points and Savannah Pulse added 13.

Callie Brunswig was the only Red Storm player to reach double-digits with 11 points. Also scoring for United were: Natalie Johnson, three; Abby French, Shelby Link and Emily Forget and Joelle Shea, two and Lauren Colbrese and Addy McKee, one.
