  • (Margurite) Louise Ridgeway, 102, of Silvis, died March 13, 2014 at Illini Restorative Care in Silvis.
    Services will be held at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, Iowa. Visitation is Tuesday, March 18 at 10 a.m., funeral service to follow at 11 a.m., burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.

    Louise was born Dec. 9, 1911, in Disco, to Leslie and Flora St. Clair. She was previously married to Shelby Allard. He preceded her in death. She married Roy Ridgeway on Oct. 15, 1938. He passed away Feb. 1, 2000.
    She was employed at the Jefferson County Hospital, Fairfield, Iowa, and was a member of the First Christian Church in Fairfield in Keosauqua, Iowa.
    She is survived by children, Treva Hawbaker, Fairfield, Iowa; Leota Boyce, Camdenton, Mo.; Louisa (Virgil) McCormick, Moline; Betty Leslie, ALedo; Thomas (LeAnn) Ridgeway, Anamosa, Iowa; Gary (Debra) Ridgeway, Iowa City, Iowa; Sharon (James) Conner, Port Byron, and 29 grandchildren. She is also survived by a daughter-in-law, Lavelle Ridgeway of Fairfield, Iowa. In addition to her husband, Louise was preceded in death by her sisters, Thelma Morgel, Marie Linder, her brothers, Gilbert St. Clair and Archibald St. Clair, a son, Rex Ridgeway and son-in-laws, Stanley Boyce and John Hawbaker.
