Mary Gray, 92, of Longmont, Colorado passed away 6-15-17 at Atria, Longmont. She was born April 23, 1925 in Aledo, Illinois to D.H. and Tressa Eastman.
Services will be held at a later date but date and location have yet to be determined. Burial will take place in Hamlet Cemetery, Hamlet, Illinois where Mr. Gray’s family homesteaded.

Mary Gray, 92, of Longmont, Colorado passed away 6-15-17 at Atria, Longmont. She was born April 23, 1925 in Aledo, Illinois to D.H. and Tressa Eastman.

She graduated from Aledo High School in 1943 and Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois in 1947. On July 6, 1947, she married Richard L Gray. They moved to Colorado in 1954. A great lover of animals, gardening, and music, she taught piano and organ. She later worked at Boulder Community Hospital from 1974-1978. A follower of Jesus Christ, Mary was active in the Presbyterian Church and later at LifeBridge Christian Church. She was a longtime volunteer at Longmont United Hospital knitting hundreds of caps for the babies born there.

She is survived by her husband Richard Gray; daughters Ellen (Norm) Laurence of Greeley, Elysse (Bruce) Grinnell of Longmont, and Julianna (Dan) Tomlinson of Medford, Oregon; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at a later date but date and location have yet to be determined. Burial will take place in Hamlet Cemetery, Hamlet, Illinois where Mr. Gray’s family homesteaded.
