(Davenport, Iowa) – Do you have a child who loves to learn? Sign them up for an all-day Engineering Kids Camp at the Putnam today!

Participants will get to take part in fun, imaginative sessions that include LEGO® robotics and will get the unique opportunity to learn side-by-side Iowa State college students and professional engineers throughout this full-day camp. They will also put their engineering problem-solving skills to the test and get to watch “Dream Big: Engineering our World” on the GIANT Screen!

“We are pleased to be partnering again with Iowa State University College of Engineering along with the Quad City Engineering and Science Council in order to make this camp possible,” said Octavia Houtekier-Boyd, Vice President of Education. “It is a great opportunity for students in the Quad Cities to explore the creative and problem solving side of engineering.”

The 2017 Engineering Kids Camp schedule is as follows:

Monday, July 25 – Tuesday, July 25

Grades 4- 6, 9am – 3pm

Wednesday, July 26

Grades 2 – 3, 9am – 3pm

Thursday, July 27

Girls only; Grades 4 – 8, 9am – 3pm

Friday, July 28

Grades 7 – 8, 9am – 3pm
