Charity M. Munson-Wade, 48, of Galva, died at 6:02 a.m., Monday, June 18, 2018 in the emergency room at OSF Saint Luke Medical Center in Kewanee.
Cremation was accorded and a memorial visitation will be held from 3:00-5:00 p.m., Friday, June 22 at Rux Funeral Home in Galva. There will also be a Celebration of her Life from 2:00-4:00 p.m., Saturday, June 30 at the First Christian Church in Keithsburg, IL. Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.

Charity Munson, formerly of Keithsburg, was born September 20, 1969 in Muscatine, IA, the daughter of Mary (Stallings) and Benjamin “Benny” Munson. She attended Westmer Schools before moving to GA and graduated from Cass High School in Cartersville in 1987. She married Trisha D. Wade on September 20, 2015 in Kewanee. She was a newspaper route carrier for the Peoria Journal Star, Galesburg Register-Mail and Kewanee Star Courier. Charity enjoyed karaoke, and she especially loved caring for her son, Nick and spending time with her family. She was a loving, caring, giving, nonjudgmental person who would do anything for anyone. 

Survivors include her spouse of Galva, her son, Stephen “Nick” “Benjy” Munson-Wykert of Galva, a brother, Josh (Christy) Munson of Ottawa, IL, a brother-in-law, Tim Wade of Abingdon, three half-sisters, Jamie (Jeff) Paul, Kae (Pat) Stevens and Susan Sedam; twelve nieces and nephews; Makayla, Briana, Elijah, Jayde (Jeff), Jayson, Jeffrey (Kelsey) Daymeon (Kylie), Benjamin (Madie), Travis, Brian, Lora and Amber; and many uncles, aunts and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Benjamin “Benjy” Munson and three infant nephews; Zackery, Matt and Seth.
