The Illinois Republican Party will be launching a special year-long celebration of Ronald Reagan’s 100th birthday in 2011.

It all begins Saturday, Feb. 5 at a celebration dinner in Chicago. Reagan’s birthday is the following day, Feb. 6.

This will be a wonderful opportunity to pay tribute to our nation’s 40th President and Illinois’ very own Ronald Wilson Reagan. Reagan was born in Tampico, in 1911, grew up in Dixon and later attended Eureka College. Illinois was pivotal in shaping his values and his vision.

Former Reagan Administration officials are among the many dignitaries that will be invited.

Specific details will follow at ReaganCentury.com, but we wanted you to plan now to attend. So, save the evening of Feb. 5 for what will surely be a tremendous event.
