On April 1, 2013 after a plea to one count of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child, a Class X Felony, James S. Gladwin received 10 years prison, followed by three years mandatory supervised release. Because of the nature of th crime he will have to serve eight and a half years actual time. Mr. Gladwin had one prior conviction for sexual abuse for which he received three years prison.
