The foot of Luke Boucher lifted the Golden Eagles to a 31-28 victory over the Annawan-Wethersfield Titans Friday night. Boucher's field goal with 3.4 seconds remaining on the clock was a game winner.

Meet the Team night for Mercer County High School has been scheduled for Friday, August 20, 6 p.m., at the George Pratt Memorial Field in Aledo. Meet the Team night is an opportunity for the community to meet athletes, cheerleaders, pompon squads and coaches. It's also a night of a football scrimmages.
Great River High Performance is offering a speed and plyometric camp for athletes 13 and up. The camp is scheduled from 8:30 to 11 a.m., July 26 to 29, at the West Burlington High School Gym and Track, 408 W. Van Weiss Blvd., West Burlington, Iowa
Registration is underway for the Monmouth College Track & Field and Cross Country Camp to be held July 5-8. The camp, which will run from 6-8:15 each evening, is open to boys and girls entering grades 7-12. Cost for the camp is $40 if registered before July 1. While the rain may be playing havoc with the turnout of the Rhubarb Festival, the Rhubarb Run didn't miss a beat. A large crowd turned out Saturday morning to run in the rain. While the race is normally held early in the morning to beat the heat, it was the rain they ran against June 5.

The CSC Chargers made their first trip in the college’s history to the NJCAA Division II Men’s National Golf Tournament in Sunny Phoenix, AZ. Palm Valley Golf Club hosted the event, home of the Phoenix College Bears.
Team BEAST (Burlington Endurance Athlete Sports Team) has scheduled its youth triathlon to begin at 9 a.m. Sunday, June 27, in Dankwardt Park, 2700 S. Main St., Burlington, Iowa. Youth ages 7 to 14 may participate.

The Mercer County High School girls softball team (4) will play play Monmouth-Roseville (5) today, March 18, in the first round of the Aledo Softball Regional. The game starts at 4:30 p.m.
The Mercer County High School boys baseball game postponed from May 17 will be played May 18 at 4:30 p.m. in Macomb. The game is part of the Macomb Baseball Regional.
The Sherrard Tigers girls track team won the Rockridge Sectional Friday, May 14.
The Mercer County mens’ and womens’ track and field team placed second in the Lincoln Trail Conference held Saturday, May 8.
The Sherrard High School girls track team won the Titan Invite held in Monmouth, May 3.
