Twenty-seven third through sixth grade girls participated in Mercer County Youth Basketball this past fall. The future Golden Eagles had three separate teams that played in the AlWood Youth League during the months of November and December.
Each team played two games every Sunday throughout the six-week league. The Golden Eagles faced opponents from Abingdon, AlWood, Cambridge, Galva and Sherrard. The squads had a combined record of 22 and 14.
