If you eat Jimmy Dean sausage with your breakfast, you might want to check the package.

According to a health alert Monday, the company recalled more than 29,000 pounds of ready-to-eat pork and poultry sausage links that "may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically pieces of metal."

The recall includes 23.4-oz. packages of "Jimmy Dean Heat 'n Serve Original Sausage Links made with pork and turkey" with a "use by" date of Jan. 31, 2019.
