Deborah (Harroun) Craig, 61 formerly of Aledo, IL died on November 1, 2018 at Casa de la Luz Hospice in Tucson, Arizona after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Deborah (Harroun) Craig, 61 formerly of Aledo, IL died on November 1, 2018 at Casa de la Luz Hospice in Tucson, Arizona after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

 

Debbie was born on March 20, 1957 in Aledo, Illinois to Wendell & Gloria (Flynn) Harroun. She graduated from Aledo High School and moved to Tucson, Arizona where she attended and graduated from the University of Arizona. On August 31, 1985 Debbie and Daniel Craig were married in Aledo, IL.

 

Debbie lived in Tucson, AZ and worked at the University Medical Center in Tucson for 32 years. She was an avid reader, horror movie fan, bird watcher, dog lover and beading enthusiast making countless beautiful creations that she shared with family and friends. She and Dan enjoyed travel and camping especially in northern Arizona and Colorado.

 

Those left to honor her memory include her husband of 33 years, Daniel Craig of Tucson, Ariz; father, Wendell Harroun; sister Cathy Long, her husband, Ted; nephew, Eric Long, his wife Daphney, and children, Adler, Vera and Fenton; niece, Kristin Willits, her husband Nate and daughter, Violet all of Aledo, IL. She was preceded in death by her mother Gloria (Flynn) Harroun.
