(September 3, 2020, Aledo, IL) The Mercer County Health Department (MCHD) today announced six additional confirmed cases of COVID-19. This brings the county’s total to 108 cases. The latest cases include: 1 male in his 60’s, 1 male in his 40’s, 1 male in his 20’s, 1 male in his teens, and 2 females in their 20’s.
At this time there are 14 individuals isolating at home and 1 resident hospitalized. The number of deaths remains unchanged at 5 individuals. Due to Federal privacy restrictions, release of any additional information on cases is prohibited. Public Health Officials are identifying and contacting all close contacts of these cases.
