Rolland L. Engle
Aledo - Rolland L. Engle, age 78, of Aledo, IL died Monday April 19, 2021 at the Aledo Health and Rehab. Cremation has been accorded and graveside services in the Oakridge Cemetery, Millersburg, IL, will be held at a later date. Memorials may be sent to Fur-Ever Friends of Mercer County. Fippinger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and online condolences can be made at fippingerfuneralhome.com.
Rolland was born December 17, 1942 in Millersburg, IL to William and Lois Emerson Engle. He attended the local schools. On December 14, 1973, he married Ruth J. Clayton in Aledo. They were married 47 years until she passed away December 13, 2020.
Rolland was an over the road truck driver for many years. He enjoyed riding his Gold Wing Motorcycle.
He is survived by 3 sons, Scottie (Michelle Crummy) Engle, Randy (Mary) Louck all of Aledo, Rick (Julie) Louck of Clarksville, TN, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, 1 brother, Brian (Mary) Engle of Millersburg, IL.
His parents, wife and 1 brother, Blaine preceded him in death.
