Warrenton, MO - Donald R. Nelson, age 75, of Warrenton, MO, passed away Sunday July 25, 2021 at the Troy Manor in Troy, MO. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 5, 2021 in the Aledo Cemetery. There is no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be sent to the donor's favorite charity. Donald was born June 17, 1946 in Rock Island, IL to Ralph and Mildred Jones Nelson. He graduated from Aledo High School in 1966 and proudly served in the U.S. Air Force.
Donald was employed in the shipping department at CEF, Inc. in Warrenton, MO for many years retiring in 2015. He enjoyed attending church and reading.
Survivors include his brother, Russell Nelson of Joy, IL, many cousins and friends.
His parents and brother, Larry, preceded him in death.
