Patricia Smith Andler, nee Patricia Kay Smith, 68, of Naperville, IL passed away on August 30, 2021, at Edward Hospital. She was born on March 16, 1953, in Viola, IL to Wanda Rosetta (Hoover) and Eugene Lawrence Smith.

Loving wife of 21 years of Michael E. Andler. Adored mother of Eric Robert (Meghan) Pfanenstiel, Kate Irene (Frederick) Pfanenstiel Lindsey, Michael Christopher (Julie) Andler, Eric Joseph (Juliana) Andler, Paul Danial (Kayla) Andler, and Caitlin Anne (Josh) Andler. Doting grandmother of Jenna, Declan, Barrett, Olivia, Mikie, Cole, Elliott, Oliver, and Rory. She is survived by her father and brother, Jack Smith.

Pat was preceded in death by her mother as well as brothers Roger and Ross Smith.

Pat grew up in Viola, IL where she attended Winola High School class of '71. After graduation she went on to Northern Illinois University where she earned a bachelor's degree in early childhood education.

Pat used her love of children and educating others through her careers at Children's World, Waste Management, Follett, and US Cellular. Her most recent position was as a senior manager of education and training for US Cellular. Her work allowed her to express her creativity, mentor others, and develop life-long friendships.
