John "Jack" Bonynge
Sarasota - John "Jack" Bonynge passed away on September 20, 2021 at his home in Sarasota, Florida. Jack was born in Aledo, Illinois on July 24, 1936 to Inis and Russell Bonynge. He lived in Aledo until 1986 at which time he and his wife, Donna relocated to Sarasota, Florida.
Survived by his wife of 63 years, Donna Fender Bonynge, Lisa Hillman (Dale), Lori Carson (Rob), Rusty Bonynge (Regina), 7 grandchildren, Chase Hillman & Erin (Matt) Johnson, Cody (Bali) Carson, Cole (Brittney) Carson, Jessica (Jeff) Carver, Zachary Bonynge, and Joshua/Bucky Bonynge. Survived also by brothers, Roger (Jean) Bonynge and Ronnie (Judi) Bonynge and sister-in-law Carol Bonynge and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Inis Bonynge, sister Marion McCreight and Blaine Bonynge.
Jack was a Navy Veteran. Jack was graduate of DeVry Technical College, Chicago, Illinois graduate. He owned Bonynge's TV in Aledo for numerous years, worked at Aledo FS before retiring from the Maintenance Department at New College, Sarasota, Florida.
Jack was an avid sports fan, especially St. Louis Cardinal fan. He enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren participate in their various activities.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Sarasota National Cemetary. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
