Washington - Barbara Lee Fisher, 90, of 100 Grand Victoria Place, Washington, IL, formerly of Aledo, passed away at 9:35 AM on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Morningside of Washington. She has gone to be with the Lord. She was born on June 23, 1931 in La Harpe, IL to Fred and Emma Flynn Randall. She married Ronald M. Fisher. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her parents, one sister and one brother.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Deborah Fisher (and Gene Ehling) of Eureka, IL; two sisters, Sharon Gaffney of Charleston, SC and Eva Pohl of Moline, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was employed by Illinois Power/Ameren in Aledo for many years. She attended the Joy Baptist Church in Joy, IL.

Barbara was a wonderful, loving mother, an avid reader, and a passionate lover of cats, dogs, horses and all animals. Her precious cat, Pinky, will be with her daughter. She also loved to travel and covered many miles with her dear friend, Bob.

Cremation will be accorded. A Memorial Service for Barbara will be announced at a later date. Memorials may be made to TAPS, 100 TAPS Lane, Pekin, IL 61554. On-Line condolences and tributes may be made at www.schmidthaller.com.
