Clark Sedam
New Boston - Clark Sedam, 90, of New Boston, Illinois died Friday, March 11, 2022 at home.
Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 15th at New Boston Cemetery. Memorials may be left for New Boston Fire and Ambulance. Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo is handling arrangements.
Clark was born November 2, 1931 in New Boston, Illinois a son of Lester and Emma Verstring Sedam. On July 15, 1952, he married Shirley Willits in Aledo. Clark worked as an Operating Engineer out of Local 150. He kept busy with many other endeavors over the years… from farming, and bull dozing to running a sawmill, and raising tomatoes for Heinz. Clark spent many years as a commercial fisherman, as well as owning/operating Clark's Fish Market. He enjoyed hunting, trapping, and fishing. He was famous for calling everyone "ornery".
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of nearly 70 years: Shirley; son: Randy (Rita) Sedam; grandchildren: Rick Sedam, Tracy (Mike) Bigham, and Haley Sedam; great grandchildren: Matt, Tianna, Isaak, Rylee, Kaylee, James, Melissa, and Dayton; 4 great great grandchildren; brother: Chester Sedam, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son: Scott Sedam, and siblings: Lucille Nebiker, Caroline Gluba, and Clyde Sedam.
