Darlene Pearson

Darlene M. Pearson, 96, of Aledo, Illinois died Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Genesis Medical Center, Aledo.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 9th at Reynolds Cemetery, Reynolds, Illinois. Memorials may be directed to the family. Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo is handling arrangements.

Darlene was born July 10, 1925 in Rock Island County the daughter of Warren and Mary Hofer. She graduated from Reynolds High School in 1943; later that year, on October 13th, she married Cecil M. Pearson in St. Joseph, Missouri. They were married until his passing on December 10, 2004. The couple loved to travel to Florida and Branson. She retired from Mercer County Hospital in 1981.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Sandy Long and Robert Pearson; grandchildren: Tim (Dawn) Pearson, Terry (Liza) Pearson, and Geff (Andrea) Long; great grandchildren: Dylan, Sofia, Zade, and Kane; and sister: JoAnn (Paul) Danner.

She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter: Becky Long, husband, sister: Marilyn (Tommy) Marple, an infant sister, and son: Kenny Pearson.
