Carmen Maynard, 50, of Aledo, Illinois died Thursday, June 9, 2022 at UnityPoint Trinity Rock Island after a brief illness.
Cremation has been accorded. Visitation is Friday, June 17th from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo. A memorial service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 18th at the funeral home with Josh Frieden of the Faith Chapel Church in Joy officiating. Memorials may be left for the family.
Carmen was born November 11, 1971 in Moline, Illinois the daughter of Jimmie and Janet Feehan Maynard. She was a 1989 graduate of Hightstown (New Jersey) High School. Carmen was the most genuine person, with a heart of gold. She never knew a stranger.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Matt, Shane, and Kenny Snook of Robbinsville, New Jersey; siblings: Tony (Missy) Maynard of Matherville, Jason Ryan Smith of New Boston, J.R. Smith of Matherville, Dawn Smith of Viola, Jodie Cassidy of Davie, Florida, Rusty Smith of East Moline, and Glenda Maynard of Aledo; honorary parent and siblings: Harvey Smith, and Chuck, Randy, and Tyler Smith; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Janet, Jimmie, and Judy and two infant brothers.
