Patricia Louise Maule

Patricia Louise Maule, 95, of Aledo, lllinois passed away Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Hope Creek Care Center in East Moline, IL. Private family services will be Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo. Burial will be at the Aledo Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the Messiah Lutheran Church in Aledo. Online condolences can be made at fippingerfuneralhome.com.

Pat was born April 18, 1927 in Burlington, lowa to Walter and Vivian Gustafson Fischer. She graduated from Wilton Junction High School and attended Brussels Beauty College in Davenport, lA. After graduating beauty school, Pat worked at Jansen Beauty Shop in Davenport. During this time, she met her husband Dr. H. Duane Maule while he was attending Palmer College. They moved to New York City where she worked as an editor at the Alexander Hamilton Institute. The couple married January 27, 1951, in Rock Island, IL. Shortly after, they moved to Aledo where they raised their five children.

Duane passed away September 15, 1994.

She loved being with her family! She loved music, crafts, reading, traveling, sewing, flowers, table tennis, & dancing (especially the jitterbug).

Survivors include 2 daughters, Christine (Rodney) Rader of Nashville, TN, Candace (Duane) Price of Aledo, IL, 2 Sons, Kevin (Ellie) Maule of Moline, IL and Mickey (Patricia) Maule of Orono, MN, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, 1 sister, 1 brother and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son Steve Maule, her parents, 1 sister, 1 brother, 1 grandson, and 1 great grandson.
