Patrick E. “Pat” Adams

Patrick E. “Pat” Adams, 72, of Doniphan, formerly of Pocahontas passed away Friday, July 15, 2022 at his home.

He was born May 31, 1950 in Galesburg, Illinois. He was adopted at a young age and raised by Herbert and Irene Minteer Adams. He was a Marine veteran, certified machinist, and cattle farmer. Pat had a great sense of humor, was always the life of the party, and greatly loved his grandchildren and great granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Irene Minteer Adams; son, Craig Adams; birth mother, Barb Brennaur; and brothers, Mike White and Chuck White.

Pat is survived by his wife, Kay Hayes Adams; son, Christopher (Sharon) Adams of Doniphan; grandchildren, Austin Adams, Allison Adams, Trent James, Alex James, and Abby Adams; great granddaughter, Aria Kay Peterson; brother, Steve Lawson; sister, Mary Brennaur; and many other relatives and friends.

All services will be in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday, July 18, 2022 from 5-7 PM with a funeral services on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 10 AM with Mackie McReynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Wells Cemetery near Dalton.

Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Eric Hayes, Mark Donner, Gary Hayes, Randall Dethrage, Trent James, and Chris Nichols.
