Christine A. (White) (Dahl) Briegel, age 74, of Lexington, Tennessee, went to be with her Lord, Saturday, August 13, 2022. She was born October 28, 1947 in Macomb to Cecil and Eleanor Beadles White. She was united in marriage August 2, 1970 in Tennessee, Illinois, to Larrie Dahl. He survives. She later married Donald Briegel in Davenport, Iowa, on July 3, 1992, he passed away August 15, 2022.

Surviving to mourn her passing are her mother: Eleanor White, Macomb, 4 sons: Jeremy "Jed" (Jennifer) Dahl, Joy, Illinois, Gregory (Jaimie) Dahl, Castalian Springs, Tennessee, Daniel Dahl, Silver Point, Tennessee, David (Tara) Dahl, Jackson, Tennessee, 2 step sons: Scott (Polly) Briegel, Palm Beach, Florida, Thomas Briegel, Blue Grass, Iowa, 1 step daughter: Jenese Briegel, Blue Grass, Iowa, 9 grandchildren: Olivia Dahl, Eliah Dahl, Bryce Dahl, Everlee Dahl, Amelia Dahl, Levi Dahl, William Dahl, Eleanor Dahl, Jeremy Briegel, 1 great grandchild on the way, 1 brother: Gerald (Mary Jane) White, Colchester, sister in law: Bea White, Texas, aunt: Juanita Briggs, Macomb, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Christine was preceded in death by her father: Cecil White and 1 brother: Stanley White.

Christine was a graduate of Colchester High School and Western Illinois University. She received her masters certification in education. She taught in the gifted and talented program and at Bardolph school, Westmer, Aledo, DeWitt, Iowa and Easton Valley school district in Sabula, Iowa. She started her school years walking to the Tennessee grade School. She also helped her family take care of the Tennessee Round Up Roller Rink. She enjoyed gardening, square dancing and calling square dances, and of course roller skating. She had been a delegate to the Iowa State Republican Party and volunteered with the Crisis Pregnancy Center in Clinton, Iowa. Christine was very active in her church, leading many women’s prayer groups and helping out where ever help was needed. She was a long time member of Church of the Open Door in Clinton, Iowa, and more recently, a member of Cross Community Church in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. She loved all the times that the White family or Beadles family gathered together for a reunion and of course Apple Butter Day held at her brother Gerald's home. She loved the Lord and took every opportunity to share about the hope she had in Christ. She enjoyed entertaining in her home and she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

The funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at the Jones Mortuary in Colchester. Burial will follow the services at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Macomb. Visitation with the family will be 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Monday, August 22, 2022, at the Jones Mortuary. Friends may view and sign the register book after 8:30 A.M. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
