Patricia A. Stancliff

Patricia A. Stancliff, 81 of Aledo, IL died Friday, December 9, 2022 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. Services are 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo. Burial will be in the Aledo Cemetery. Visitation is 1:00 p.m. until the time of services at Fippinger’s where memorials may be left to the Richard L. Owens Hospice Home. Online condolences can be made at www.fippingerfuneralhome.com.

She was born January 1, 1941 in Aledo, IL to William Sr. and Fern Brown Brock. Pat attended Warren County schools and graduated from Keithsburg High School. She attended Burlington Beauty School. Pat married Mike Johnston and later married C.W. “Red’ Stancliff July 14, 1963 in Aledo.

Pat owned and operated “The Best Little Hairhouse in Aledo” for 33 years, retiring in 2021.

She is survived by her husband, Red; three daughters, twins, Merri (Jeffery) Eklund of Livingston, Texas; Terri Shampine of Newhall, California; Susan (Alan) Parkinson of Aledo, Illinois; one son, Kyle Stancliff of Cocoa, Florida; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; two sisters, Candy (John) Swank of Aledo; Sandra (Bob) Cook of Viola; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one great granddaughter, Evangelina Joy; one sister, Francie Howard; two brothers, Ronnie and William “Topper” Brock Jr.
