George Dewey Mosher, 90, of Fort Collins, Colorado, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022 in Larimer County, Colorado.
George was born February 6, 1932 in Los Angeles, California to Dewey John and Rose Belle (Maher) Mosher.
George first attended school in California, then in Illinois, graduating from Viola High School in 1950. He joined the United States Air Force immediately following graduation. After his military service, he made a career working with electronic equipment.
George married Dorothy A. Maberry on September 6, 1952 in Denver, Colorado. They soon moved to Grand Junction, then settled in Fort Collins in 1958 where George lived until his death. George and Dorothy had three children, David, Cindy, and Murry.
George is survived by his three children, two grandchildren (Sara and Matthew), two great-grandchildren (Benson and Brooks), one sister (Carol Mosher Knupp of Stronghurst, Illinois), and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Dorothy, his parents, one sister (Mary Mosher Wagoner), and one granddaughter (Melissa).
A memorial service and interment are planned at Rock Island National Cemetery on May 27, 2023.
