Chargers drop league contest

    St. Anne buried eight -points through the first three quarters in racing to a 79-57 River Valley Conference victory over Tri-Point Friday night.
    The Cardinals made three treys in the first period in building a 21-14 lead. Three more triples in the second helped St. Anne put up 25 points for the quarter and take a 46-31 lead into the break.
    The Cardinals added two more 3-pointers in the third as they pushed their lead to 63-45.
    Mico Sullivan led St. Anne with 22 points and Teandre Shannon added 12 points.
    Brian Curling had 19 points in leading Tri-Point's offense. Conor Cardenas chipped in 15 points while Chace Cathcart scored 9 had Hayden Lane had 8 points. Tyler Platz checked in with 4 points and Bobby Mogged had 2. The Chargers racked up seven treys on the night.
