Cook starts at State Farm
Justin Cook is the new State Farm agent in Aledo. Cook replaces Doug Baldwin who took another position with State Farm.
Cook, 26, has been in Aledo for about a month but has an official start date of Sept. 1.
Prior to coming to Aledo, Cook worked as a financial services representative for two years with a State Farm agent in Cape Girardau, Missouri. He was also an intern for one year in Marion.
Cook is originally from Cape Girardau and attended Southwest Missouri State University there. He earned a degree in business administration with a major in finance.
Cook said he attended Shawnee Community College for two years and played baseball there. He also loves to hunt and fish and is an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan.
As a State Farm agent he is authorized to sell auto, homeowners, life, health, securities and also conduct banking business. "Anything financial we have something to do with it."
Cook said, "State Farm is about taking care of people. We're here to help you manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize your dreams. We want to build lifelong relationships with all of our clients -- this assures you that we'll be there when you need us. When you do business with us, you're family. This is what being the Good Neighbor is all about."
Cook plans an open house for Sept. 19 from 4-6 p.m.
