Country Bank announces new employees

Denise Bowker, Country Bank vice president and retail manager, is pleased to announce the appointments of three new Country Bank employees:

*Lisa Bealmear is employed as teller supervisor. She holds an associate in science degree in business administration from Lincoln Land Community College and a bachelor of science degree in finance from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She has 10 years of banking experience, specifically in the trust and investment services area. 

She and her husband, Jeff, currently reside in Aledo, moving here from the Belleville/St. Louis area. He serves as the Pastor of the Aledo United Methodist Church. They have a daughter, Jenny, a freshman at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and a son, Kyle, a sophomore at Aledo High School. She is involved in a variety of church activities and her family sponsors two high school girls in the Philippines. 

Carmen Benoit is employed as a customer services representative. Carmen is a graduate of Muscatine High School and attended Muscatine Community College, majoring in administrative secretarial. She has 16 years of customer service experience, most recently serving as teller supervisor at The Family Credit Union in Muscatine, Iowa.

She and her husband, Ken, reside in New Boston. They have a daughter, Emily, and a son, Adam. Carmen is a member of the Aledo Kiwanis Club. 

Hollie Welch was hired as a Drive-Up Teller. Hollie is currently a junior at Aledo High School taking a college prep schedule of classes. Her future plans include entering the field of nursing. 

She is the daughter of Jim and Kerri Welch of Aledo. She has two older sisters, Dr. Allison and Julie, a younger brother, Brody and a younger sister, Brandi.  She is the granddaughter of John and Jean Welch and Jean Long, all of Aledo. 

Hollie’s extracurricular activities include three years as secretary for the class of 2010, a two-year member of the flag squad, and three years of Pit, PEP, and Concert band. She is a state-level Science Fair best of show winner. She is a member of the Big Brother Big Sisters program and has participated in Make a Difference Day.
