The fifth annual Country Bank Golf Invitational was successful once again in raising money for local organizations. Eighty three golfers participated in the one day golf outing and raised $8,000 which has been divided between four local organizations: the Churches of Mercer County Food Pantry, the Rockridge Area Food Pantry, the Central Park Band Shell and the Unsinkable Spirit Flood Relief.

According to Rusty Ruggles, Central Park Band Shell Chairman, "I truly believe that our Band Shell project never would've taken place without Country Bank....they've been extremely helpful financially with so many community projects."

Jo Lawson, representing the Churches of Mercer County Food Pantry commented that this has been an especially busy year for the food pantry in Aledo saying, "the monetary donation made by Country Bank has helped serve many families in the Mercer County area."

Country Bank has given $43,000 to local charities in the last five years raised from their annual golf outing alone.
