Architects to consult in Aledo on Thursday

Perks Coffee & Cafe, one of Aledo's newest eateries, will be studied by the Illinois Historical Preservation Agency for its facade work.

Architects from the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency, Springfield, will be in Aledo on Thursday, May 14, according to Pam Myers, Aledo Main Street executive director. Illinois Main Street provides Main Street communities with architectural services when a business in the community wants to do façade renderings, logos, signage or lighting. The two businesses the agency architects will be consulting with are Mercer County Eye Care and The Gun Report.
