Are you thinking about SPRING?

Now is the time to start planning spring projects around your home and the Monmouth Home Show can help. With free admission you can visit with merchants and view displays by area businesses and organizations that offer products and services for your home on Saturday Feb. 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the First Street Armoury, located at 215 South First Street, Monmouth.

Many merchants will be on hand with offering a wide range of products and services including but not limited to lawn equipment, kitchen cabinetry and design, flooring, insurance, real estate, nursery, building and remodeling supplies and contractors, and local lenders.

Register to win! A Cub Cadet 19-inch push mower with bagger will be given away as a door prize at 3 p.m. from the Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce. Various merchants will be offering door prize drawings and give away items at their individual booths.

A presentation on telecommunications for the home will be given at 11 a.m. by Kim Sheetz-Zugmaier, General Manager of Frontier Communications. Frontier Communications is an event sponsor of the Home Show.

BBQ Pork Sandwiches, hotdogs, nachos, chips, soda, and water will be served by the 1st Street Armoury and the proceeds from food sales will benefit the programs of the Armoury.

This is a great way for the community to learn more about products and services for the home, all in one place. Also you can pick up a few give away items, have lunch, and hopefully win a prize.

The Monmouth Home show is presented by the Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce and IH Mississippi Valley Credit Union.
