The Illinois Department of Commerce &

Economic Opportunity Office of Trade and Investment

is hosting free informational seminars for any small

or medium-sized business interested in expanding its

export opportunities. The seminars will provide

businesses with information about Illinois' new $1.26

million State Trade & Export Promotion (STEP) grant

program and other services that are available to help

                     businesses find new overseas markets.

The STEP program, funded through the U.S. Small

                     Business Administration, supports Governor Pat

Quinn's goal of doubling Illinois exports by year-end

2014, and will help Illinois businesses export their

                     products and services world-wide.

The seminars are free, but require registration to

attend. To register for any of the following export

seminars or to learn more about Illinois trade, visit
