A visit with Ulysses S. Grant at St. Ambrose

DAVENPORT, Iowa—On Saturday, March 22, at 7 p.m., St. Ambrose University alumnus Peter Grady will perform a one-man show, “Unconditional Surrender: A Visit with Ulysses S. Grant,” on the Galvin Fine Arts stage. The show was written by Grady using Grant's memoir, as well as other historical references. Admission to the performance is $6 for adults and $3 for students. The Galvin Fine Arts Center is located on Gaines Street, between Locust and Lombard.

“Ulysses S. Grant comes to life in this informative, humorous and touching portrayal,” according to show’s website. Grady, who is an assistant in the Iowa Attorney General's office, has been active in community theatre in Marshalltown, Iowa, for many years.
