This group of three and four year olds will perform "On the Good Ship Lollypop," over Holly Days.

Myrna Rae Matlick, director of Myrna Rae's Dance studio will keep her students busy during the Aledo Holly Days, as her front window becomes a living window of dancers on Friday night, Dec. 5, 2008. "Every child gets to dance one number here during the Christmas Walk," says Matlick. The studio, located on West Main Street will have dancing from 5:30 to 8 p.m. inside.

The studio sets up chairs for visitors to come in and watch the program. "We have standing room only," she said. "People come in and out and we serve refreshments," she added.

In addition, Myrna Rae will bring from eight to 10 groups to the annual area Christmas Party at 1 p.m. at Apollo School on Saturday, Dec. 6. Some of the groups performing include Karly Matlick and Kyrstin Plohr, winners of the Mercer County Fair and best of show winners of the I Love Dance competition held in Des Moines. "They also won second overall at Nationals in Nashville this last summer," said Matlick.

Another group is the Jail House Rock group, who took sixth at Nationals. Another couple who did well at Nationals, 10th place, is Amanda Kreieder and Maxine Werkheiser.

The Witch Doctor will be performed by these 10 to 12 year olds at Holly Days.
