Cindy Hutchins, of Aledo, a long-time member of Quad City Singers, will be performing with the group in "Christmas at the Figge" on Dec. 7.

Quad City Singers will present Christmas at the Figge, the annual Madrigal Dinner, on Sunday, Dec. 7, at the Figge Museum in downtown Davenport. The evening begins with a cocktail hour at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner and program at 6:30 p.m.

The 16-member ensemble is under the direction of Lori Potts of Davenport and accompanied by Jodi Johnston-Mohr of Rock Island. The event will be hosted by Kirby Winn, also of Davenport.

The musical program includes numerous holiday classics such as Do You Hear What I Hear, Baby, It's Cold Outside, Parade of the Wooden Soldiers, The Twelve Days of Christmas and an audience sing-along of favorite carols. Also on the program are Bob Chilcot's Mid-Winter, Andre J. Thomas's Here's A Pretty Little Baby and Amy Grant's Breath of Heaven among many other selections.

The singing group "performs a variety of music appealing to all listeners - Renaissance through contemporary vocal jazz," says Director Potts. "Our purpose is to bring the enjoyment of ensemble choral music to listeners through selections they can relate to."

The dinner menu will feature a selection of chicken or beef entrees, new potatoes, vegetable medley, figge pudding, coffee and authentic English wassail. A cash bar will also be available.
