Oct. 2 International Festival at BHC

Explore the cultures of the world Saturday, Oct. 2 at the Black Hawk College's 16th International Festival. The festival will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the gym in Building 3 at the Quad-Cities Campus, 6600 34th Ave., Moline.

Entertainment will include Kalanjali dance from India, Nepalese dancers and dances representing a variety of cultures performed by Quad Cities Social Dancing. There also will be food, music, children's activities, an international fashion show and vendors selling items from countries such as Ecuador, Guatemala and Nepal.

Admission is $3 for ages 13 and older. Children 12 and younger are FREE.

All money raised by ticket sales goes toward ESL/international student scholarships through the Black Hawk College Foundation.
