The Aledo Rehabilitation and Health Care Center will host a special cookout on Thursday, August 2 in Aledo’s Central Park to honor the Hometown Heroes that make our community a great place to live. The event begins at 5 p.m. followed by a concert from Mr. Tingle beginning at 7 p.m.

Food and drinks will be available for a free will donation and all monies raised will be donated to the VFW Mural Project.

“We take for granted the men and women that serve us on a daily basis, and while we will never be able to repay them for what they do, it is our way of saying thank you, “said Scott Widener, administrator for the facility.
