Do-it-yourselfers can learn home wiring at BHC

Men and women can learn how to do basic home wiring in the six-week Home Wiring class at Black Hawk College.

The class covers house wiring, telephone wiring and cable systems. Participants get hands-on experience using meters and tools to safely troubleshoot, maintain or make minor revisions.

The class will meet from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesdays, Oct. 25 to Nov. 29, at the college’s Outreach Center, 301 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline. Cost is $54 for residents of the Black Hawk College District. Call for out-of-district rates.
