Edward and Leslie Renea Anderson celebrate their 40th Anniversary

Edward and Leslie Renea Anderson are celebrating their 40th Anniversary with a reception at the Oak View Country Club on Friday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. Hosting the event are their children, Toni and Mark Weeks of Aledo; Evan and Rebecca Anderson, Huntington Beach, Calif and Joni and Andy Sharar of Muscatine. The couple has five grandchildren.

Ed and Renea were married on Nov. 11 1968 at Wesleyan United Methodist Church in Muscatine, Iowa.

Ed retired after 38 years as a tuckpointer with the Bricklayer’s Union in 2007. Renea has been employed by Augustana College in Rock Island since 1992 as a secretary in the Office of Residential Life. Before that she worked at the State Bank of Seaton for 12 years. The couple has lived in Seaton since 1975.
