Tom and Ginger Stone celebrate 45th anniversary

Tom and Ginger Stone of Oquawka celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on Nov. 17, 2008.

Tom married Ginger Freeman in Galesburg in a ceremony performed by Rev. Richard Slavish on Nov. 17, 1963 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. They were both living in Galesburg at the time.

Tom was employed at Farmall Works, Rock Island, from 1963 until 1984. He retired from Navistar International in 2001. Ginger was a homemaker.

Their children are Patti (Bruce) Lawson, Alpha; Kelly (Bill) Francois, Brandon, Miss.; Kris (Grant) Rasmussen, Kalispell, Mont.; Lea Stone, Peoria and Shannon (Shawn) Flynn, Matherville. They have 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
