Hunts to celebrate 50th anniversary
Don and Sally Hunt, Aledo, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at the Depot, 204 SE 2nd Ave., Aledo, on Saturday, May 2, from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. It is requested that gifts be omitted.
Don Hunt and Sally Schreiber, both of Aledo, were married at the Aledo United Methodist Church on May 3, 1959. Officiating Pastor was Rev. C.H. Essman. Attending the couple were Ella Mae (Schreiber) Baker, Betty (Schreiber) Feigenbaum, Frazier Hunt and Bradley Bridgford.
Don has been a barber in Aledo for 50 years, semi-retiring in 1999 and presently working part-time in his home. Sally was employed part-time at the Aledo City Hall for 32 years, retiring in August 2000. They are both active members of the College Avenue Presbyterian Church.
Their children are Angela Dunaway, Arlington, Texas and Kevin (Barb) Hunt of Gurnee.
Grandchildren are Antronn Dunaway, Texas and Ryan and Hannah Hunt, Gurnee.
